Lakelytics exists for one reason: to warn lake and fishery owners before low oxygen becomes a fish kill.
Lakelytics provides continuous, low-maintenance dissolved oxygen monitoring for carp lakes and fisheries across the UK, Ireland, France and Europe. A solar-powered sensor station measures the water around the clock and sends readings wirelessly to the cloud, so owners get phone alerts before oxygen crashes — and can switch an aerator on automatically.
Why we built it
Anyone who runs a fishery knows the fear of a warm, still night in summer. The surface looks fine at closing time, but through the small hours oxygen quietly drains from the deep water, bottoming out around dawn. By the time fish are gasping at the top, it’s often too late — and a single night can wipe out years of careful stocking.
Manual testing can’t catch that, because nobody’s there at 4am. Existing monitoring systems tended to be closed, corporate and expensive. We thought fishery owners deserved something honest, affordable and genuinely easy to live with — so we built it.
